The second Annual Meeting of the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Program


The second Annual Meeting of the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Program was held on June 4, 2024, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, which acts as the National Coordination Unit (NCU), in the presence of the Swiss partners, the Audit Authority within the Ministry of Finance and of the Paying Authority within the Ministry of Investments and European Projects.

The Swiss delegation, represented by the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development (SDC), the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Swiss Contribution Office in Bucharest, appreciated the discussions, as well as the progress made in the programmes' developing stage.

Both the Swiss partners and NCU representatives reiterated the ambitious goal for 2024 to have the programmes approved. The second day of the annual Meeting was dedicated to an interactive management course, supported by the Swiss side and attended by representatives of the institutions involved in developing the programmes. In the margin of the Annual Meeting, on June 4 and 5, technical discussions took place with the Programme Operators, appointed at the level of the ministries, regarding the progress and the next steps.
